What is the Definition of a Bedroom?

Did you know?

A bedroom is defined as a private room with four walls and a door, and is NOT required to have a closet.   Interesting, huh?!

In the city of Chicago, this private room is also required to have a window with natural light.

A "tandem" bedroom is not a legal description for a bedroom, as it cannot be called a bedroom at all.  This room would be considered at best, a sitting room, bonus room...you get the idea.

This is for those inquiring minds that want to know....
